Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026 · Learning Bridge LTD · England and Wales · Plain English

By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms. If you are registering a student under 18, you confirm you are their parent or legal guardian and agree on their behalf.

1About Learning Bridge

Learning Bridge LTD is a company registered in England and Wales. We operate the tutoring platform currently trading as Mr Moussally, a premium educational support platform connecting students with qualified UK teachers for GCSE, IGCSE, and A-level subjects.

All tutors on the platform hold a recognised UK teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, BEd, or equivalent), and hold a current criminal-record check before delivering any session to a student under 18 — an Enhanced DBS certificate, or, for a teacher who lives outside the UK and so cannot obtain one, the equivalent police-clearance or good-conduct check in their country of residence. Tutors are vetted and approved by Learning Bridge for their teaching and their suitability before they deliver their first session.

1AWho you are contracting with

The teacher provides the tuition. We find them, check them, list them, take your booking and handle the payment. When you book a lesson, your contract for that lesson is with the teacher who delivers it. Learning Bridge acts as that teacher's agent for arranging the booking and collecting payment.

In practice this changes very little about how you use the platform. You pay us once, and that payment settles what you owe the teacher — you will never be asked to pay twice, and you never have to arrange money with a teacher directly. We hold the cancellation policy in section 6 and we administer refunds on the teacher's behalf, so you deal with one place rather than chasing an individual.

What it means for responsibility is this. The teacher is responsible for the lesson itself — for delivering it, for its quality, and for their own professional conduct and insurance. We require every teacher to hold professional indemnity insurance as a condition of being listed, and we tell them so in writing — but we do not inspect individual policies, so treat that as a requirement we impose rather than a check we have carried out. We are responsible for our own service — for who we choose to list, for the checks we say we carry out, and for the booking, payment and progress-tracking systems working properly. Section 10 sets out the limits of that.

Every teacher on the platform is a self-employed independent contractor, not an employee of Learning Bridge, and each is separately responsible for their own position under the law of the country they teach from. That is set out in our tutor terms.

Learning Bridge is a digital marketplace connecting students with independent educational contractors. The platform does not operate as a licensed school or instructional institution in the UAE.

2Your account

Each account is personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

  • Students under 18 must be registered by a parent or legal guardian via a parent account.
  • You must provide accurate information when registering. Accounts created with false information may be suspended.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create a parent or tutor account.
  • One parent account may be linked to multiple student profiles.

3Our services

Through the platform you can access:

  • Free revision resources — notes and practice questions written by qualified examiners, available to all registered students at no charge.
  • Group sessions and courses — live small-group tuition delivered online by the teacher running the course, bookable via the platform.
  • Private 1-to-1 lessons — individual sessions delivered by, and booked directly with, a named teacher via their availability calendar.
  • Progress tracking — a real-time dashboard showing parents and students exactly which topics have been covered, what is in progress, and what is still to come.

Session availability, pricing, and subject coverage may change over time. We will always give registered users reasonable notice of significant changes.

4Free content

Revision notes and practice questions on this platform are free for all registered students and will remain free. We will never charge for access to existing free content.

Free content is for personal study use only. You may not distribute, reproduce, or publish it elsewhere without written permission from Learning Bridge LTD.

5Payments

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By booking a paid session, you authorise us to store your payment method via Stripe and charge it automatically before each session. We collect that payment on your teacher's behalf and keep a commission for the platform service; paying us settles what you owe the teacher for that lesson in full.

  • For private lessons, your card is charged 24 hours before each session. You will receive a reminder email before every charge.
  • For group course enrolments, payment terms are shown at the point of booking.
  • All prices shown include VAT where applicable. Prices are set in GBP. If you are in the UAE, you are charged in AED at the current exchange rate — the approximate AED amount is shown before you pay. Everyone else is charged in GBP.
  • We will never charge an amount different from what was agreed at booking without your prior consent.

6Cancellations and refunds

Our cancellation policy varies by session type. Please read this section carefully before booking.

Group sessions and courses

  • If you miss a group session or a session within a course, no refund is issued. This applies whether or not you gave advance notice.
  • If you cancel a course enrolment before the course begins, please contact us — we will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

Private 1-to-1 lessons

  • Cancellation 24 hours or more before the session: full refund issued automatically to your original payment method. No questions asked.
  • Cancellation less than 24 hours before the session: no refund. The session is charged at the agreed rate. Your tutor may grant a credit at their sole discretion, but they are under no obligation to do so.

If your tutor cancels

  • If a tutor cancels a session, you will receive a full automatic refund for that session.
  • You will also be offered the option to reschedule the session at no additional cost.
  • Repeated tutor cancellations are treated as a serious matter and may result in that tutor being removed from the platform.

Free taster sessions (15 minutes)

  • Taster sessions are free of charge and auto-confirmed. No payment is taken and no refund is applicable.
  • Taster sessions are optional — not every first session needs to be a taster. You may book a full paid lesson from the start.

To request a cancellation or report a dispute, email info@mrmoussally.com as soon as possible.

7Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Share login credentials with any other person
  • Record sessions without the explicit consent of your tutor
  • Behave in an abusive, offensive, or disrespectful manner towards tutors, other students, or platform staff
  • Use the platform or its content to create competing products or services
  • Attempt to circumvent any technical security measures on the platform
  • Contact tutors outside the platform to arrange lessons that bypass the platform's booking system
  • Access or attempt to access the platform using bots, scrapers, crawlers, or any other automated or scripted means, including to bulk-download, index, mirror, or replicate our content, data, or pricing
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise discover the source code, database structure, underlying architecture, or business logic of the platform
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the platform, or attempt to access data or accounts you are not authorised to access

Accounts found in serious breach of these terms may be suspended immediately without refund. Unauthorised automated access or attempts to extract our data or source code may also constitute a breach of computer misuse and intellectual property law, and we reserve the right to take legal action in addition to suspending the account responsible.

8Messaging

The platform provides a messaging service between parents and teachers. Messages are exchanged between the parent account and the teacher account only — students do not have access to messaging, and cannot read, send, or be added to a conversation.

Messages are not private from Learning Bridge. All messages are stored on the platform, and Learning Bridge LTD may read them where necessary to investigate a safeguarding concern, resolve a dispute, respond to a report of misuse, or comply with a legal obligation. We do not read messages routinely and we do not use their contents for marketing.

Messaging is for arranging and discussing tuition. Do not use it to exchange personal contact details in order to arrange lessons outside the platform (see section 7), and do not use it to report an urgent safeguarding or medical concern — in an emergency, contact the appropriate local authority directly.

We retain messages for as long as the related account is active, and afterwards only for as long as needed for the purposes above. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.

9Intellectual property

All revision notes, practice questions, diagrams, platform software, and platform content are owned by Learning Bridge LTD or the individual tutor who created them. The platform provides you with a personal, non-exclusive licence to access this content manually, through the platform's own interface, for your own study.

You may not redistribute, publish, screenshot-and-share, or use any platform content commercially without written permission. This licence does not extend to automated or bulk extraction of content or data — by scraping, scripting, an unofficial API client, or any other automated means — even where you hold a valid account.

10Limitation of liability

As explained in section 1A, your teacher is responsible for the lesson they deliver, and we are responsible for our own service — the vetting we say we do, and the booking, payment and tracking systems.

We are not responsible for:

  • Exam results or academic outcomes, which depend on many factors beyond anyone's control
  • Brief technical outages that do not prevent access for more than 24 hours
  • Events outside our reasonable control (force majeure), including internet outages, platform-wide technical failures, or natural disasters
  • Third-party websites and materials we link to — such as external revision resources and past-paper sites. We link to them because they are useful; we do not control them, and we are not responsible for their content, accuracy or availability
  • Anything arranged off the platform. If you arrange lessons with a teacher outside our booking system — which section 7 asks you not to do — those lessons are entirely between you and them. We have no record of them, no payment protection applies, and we are not responsible for them in any way
  • The learning environment at your end. Lessons are delivered online. We are not in loco parentis: supervising your child, their device and their surroundings during a lesson remains your responsibility as the parent or guardian
  • Loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or any indirect or consequential loss

Where we are liable to you, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law — and nothing in them affects your statutory rights as a consumer. If any part of this section is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.

11Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by contacting us directly will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are based in the UAE and have a dispute, we will always try to resolve it amicably first. Email us — most issues are resolved within 48 hours.

12Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Your continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
