ABOUT THE PLATFORM

A community of great teachers,
built to solve a real classroom problem.

This platform exists because one examiner couldn't keep track of his own students — and built the fix everyone else could use too.

THE STORY

It started with a spreadsheet that stopped working

Mr Moussally was teaching a full timetable across multiple year groups and exam boards — Cambridge IGCSE here, Edexcel GCSE there, Foundation and Higher tiers running in parallel. Each class needed its own pace through the specification. Each student needed their gaps tracked individually: who'd missed which session, who needed a recap before the next topic, who was ready to move on.

A spreadsheet works for one class. It does not work for a growing number of students across a growing number of groups. Tracking which student had covered which topic, against which spec, became guesswork the moment the numbers scaled — and guesswork is exactly what a parent asking “how is my child doing?” deserves least.

So he built a structured system for his own classroom first: a curriculum map for every topic, a log for every session, a clear picture of every gap. It worked. Parents could finally see real progress instead of a vague update. Sessions stopped slipping through the cracks.

The next question was obvious: why should this only help his own students? Other UK-qualified teachers — people he'd trust to teach his own children — could plug into the same system rather than each rebuilding it from scratch. That decision is the platform you're looking at now. It exists to make life easier for three people at once: the teacher, who gets booking, payments, and progress tracking handled; the parent, who finally gets a straight answer; and the student, who gets free notes, free practice, and a teacher who actually knows where they are.

No one knows what a great teacher looks like
better than a great teacher.

Every teacher on this platform is hand-picked by Mr Moussally — an active Edexcel examiner — and every one is a qualified, practising British school teacher. This is a curated community, not an open marketplace. The founder's role is curator and quality guarantor: he sets the standard, and every teacher teaches to it.

MEET THE FOUNDER

Mr Moussally holds a BEng in Civil Engineering from Loughborough University, a PGCE in Mathematics, and a Master's in Education. He has spent over a decade teaching at leading British secondary schools — including students with special educational needs — and taught at Repton Al Barsha, Dubai.

The result he's proudest of: a student who sat a mock Foundation paper and scored a grade 1. One month of structured, targeted work later, she sat the real exam and earned a grade 5. Her brother is now on track for a grade 9.

As an active Edexcel examiner, he marks real student papers — which means every teacher on this platform is held to a standard built from the actual marking desk, not a textbook.

THE EXAMINER EDGE

He doesn't just teach to the exam. He marks it.

As an active Edexcel examiner, Mr Moussally has marked real student papers from across the country. He knows what earns marks and — just as importantly — what doesn't. The notes, worked solutions, and questions on this platform are written from that perspective: not from a textbook, but from the marking desk.

Mr Moussally is a great IGCSE tutor. He explains problems in more than one way if you don't get it the first time. He makes maths easy with the way he uses technology!
