Teaching maths isn't just a job. It's a calling.
Mr Moussally holds a BEng in Civil Engineering from Loughborough University, a PGCE in Mathematics, and a Master's in Education. He has spent over a decade teaching at leading British secondary schools — including students with special educational needs — with a focus on building genuine understanding, not just exam technique.
Since moving to Dubai, he has tutored students from across the UAE at IGCSE and GCSE level, taking students from Year 7 right through to their final exams. He also teaches A-level and IB Maths on request through dedicated 1-to-1 sessions tailored to each syllabus. His group classes have a maximum of 6 students — small enough for every student to be seen, heard, and supported.
He has coached students in national competitions including UKMT and Maths Feast, and has taught at Repton Al Barsha, Dubai. But the results he is most proud of are the quieter ones: a student who sat the Foundation paper and arrived with a mock grade of 1. One month of structured, targeted work. She sat the final exam and earned a grade 5. Her brother is now on track for a grade 9.
The difference is not just content knowledge — it is the ability to see how a student is thinking, identify exactly what is going wrong, and fix it at the root. That is the Mr Moussally method.
He doesn't just teach to the exam. He marks it.
As an active Edexcel GCSE examiner, Mr Moussally has marked real student papers from across the country. He knows what earns marks and — just as importantly — what doesn't.
